Watch and support

Follow the event on a live map

Spectators, support crews, families, and fans can open the public event view on the web or in the MapCatch app.

Positions, route progress, organiser messages, live results, replay, and decision context stay together even when participants are spread across large terrain.

Follow a competitor

Use follow mode to keep one participant centered while progress, speed context, and the latest update stay close at hand.

Read the race as it happens

See live results, arrival estimates, route progress, gaps, movement history, and official event context from the same browser view.

Follow the event

Follow competitor chat, event messages, public updates, and replay without interrupting participants during the race.

Spectator view

What do spectators see?

Second-level precision. When the tracking source supports it, recorded tracks can show down-to-the-second movement instead of coarse dots.

Replay and compare. Go back through the event, watch selected competitors, and inspect completed tracks. Planned: deeper time-shifted comparison for selected segments.

Event context. Combine live position, route progress, checkpoints, live results, estimates, messages, and source history so spectators see more than a moving marker.

More than watching dots. The event view can show not only where someone is, but which source produced the update, what changed, and how the final result was corrected.

Web or in-app following. Friends, family, crews, and fans can follow the public event view while participants stay focused on the event.
