Use the MapCatch app when your event supports phone tracking

In many events, your phone can be both the tracker and the event map. Other events may use GSM trackers, satellite trackers, uploads, or a backup device when terrain, battery life, or rules require it.

When the event uses the app, you can receive official messages, route or checkpoint changes, and result context. Timing integrations can be quoted when needed.

Use your phone when the event allows it

Use the MapCatch app when the organiser enables phone tracking, or carry the tracker provided for that event.

See the event context

See route progress, live results, distance, messages, and other competitors without relying on screenshots or scattered chats.

Built for reliability

Use more than one source when allowed, so one source can back up another if coverage, battery, or hardware changes.

During the event

One live event view from start to finish

Use the event setup. Your event may use phones, dedicated trackers, satellite devices, uploads, or a backup source depending on terrain, coverage, and battery needs.

Mobile tracking adds interaction. With phone tracking you can see competitors, messages, route progress, live results, event updates, and checkpoint changes in one place.

Your organiser controls the event view. They decide what is visible, which devices are used, and how corrections are handled.

Event updates can reach you. If the event uses mobile tracking, organisers can change routes, checkpoints, or locations during the event and keep participants aligned.

Friends and crews follow from one place. They open the public event view and see your position, history, progress, replay, and final result context.
